Welcome to Youth for Yemen! Started and run entirely by highschoolers, Youth for Yemen funds resource allocation and medical care for families in need of dire assistance in Yemen. As of 2019, over 19.3 million Yemenis struggled to access clean water, and 24 million citizens needed humanitarian aid (80% of their population). With the recent outburst of COVID-19, these numbers have dramatically increased, overwhelming the healthcare system and making medical care a rare commodity. To maximize our efforts in combatting the humanitarian crisis, Youth for Yemen has decided to partner with Oxfam America to ensure donations reach citizens safely. Oxfam works primarily on improving access to resources, as well as advocating for peace and education policy (within the government as well as citizens).
Since July 2015, Oxfam has provided 420,000 people in the Taiz governate with clean water.
Amid the pandemic, Oxfam is using its resources to educate and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Please join our efforts in helping Yemen and contribute through raising awareness or donations. Any amount makes an unprecedented impact.
